Unlike most of the kids in his Rochester suburb, Matt spent the better part of his childhood playing the drums and singing cheezy local advertising jingles. In 1994, after it was clear that a record deal wasn't imminent, he graduated with his Masters of Arts in Marketing Communication Studies from Emerson College in Boston, MA. From there, Matt returned to his hometown and quickly made his mark on the advertising community. Sans fromage.
Today, after 15 years on the creative side of advertising, Matt has sold just about everything. Film. Chocolate milk. Health care. Financial services. Even the value of getting an MBA from a school known for technology. His philosophy is simple: reward people for spending time with your advertising and they'll spend money on your brand.
Matt has received numerous industry accolades including:
Matt has been an adjunct professor of advertising at St. John Fisher College. He also performs regularly as a drummer in the band Froth - an original rock formation that plays progressive jam rock around Upstate New York.
